On March 8 this year Soroptimist International Stourbridge got together with a number of other organisations, agencies and individuals at the Black Country Museum in Dudley to mark International Women's Day for which this year's theme was Ending Impunity for Violence against Women and Girls.
A number of members were on hand throughout the event to provide information about International Women's Day and to hand out leaflets about Soroptimist International.
President Sue Solly said: "This theme is at the very heart of the objects of Soroptimist International ending violence against women in all its forms and safeguarding the human rights, health and well being of the girl child are core to our aims."
Soroptimist International, Stourbridge is aiming to make a difference, thinking globally and acting locally.
Our members are doing their bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding.
