DUDLEY is set to be greener than ever with 50,000 more wheelie bins sent out to borough households.
This now means a total of 100,000 green wheelie bins have been posted out.
Residents will receive flyers from next month to tell them when their green bin will be delivered.
Bins will be sent out between May and July and residents will receive calendars telling them when their fortnighly collections will take place.
All borough homes are set to have a bin by the end of the three-year rolling programme.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for the environment, said: "The green waste recycling scheme has been a big success and last year 15,000 tonnes of green waste was recycled.
"Many people have asked for this service and I am delighted it is going from strength to strength."
Waste accepted in the bins includes weeds, hedge and grass clippings, cut flowers, twigs and small branches, leaves and shrubs and spent compost.
