CRESTWOOD High school pupils were celebrating after beating other schools from across the region in a consumer competition.
Teams of four students aged from 14 to 17 competed.
The teams were tested on a wide of issues including food, health, safety, environment, mon-ey, consumer and world matters.
Crestwood youngsters beat off stiff competition in the Young Consumer of the Year quiz and are hopeful of a place in the final.
The final takes place in June and will be held at Manchester's International Convention Centre.
