STOURBRIDGE'S Picturehouse is gearing up to go out with a bang when it holds its last ever over 18s night.
The Hagley Road nightclub is to hold an event called "Winding it up", an end of an era party night on Saturday March 31 to celebrate its ten years of existence.
As staff get ready to say goodbye they have been inundated with youngsters turning up for their under 18s rock theme night.
Last Friday (March 24) manager Chris Stanley was amazed by the amount of teenagers turning up to party at the club.
News about the under 18s Rock It night has spread far and wide as kids were pouring in to Stourbridge on trains and buses.
The club saw its biggest turnout since Boy George, Brandon Block and Jeremy Healy took to the decks.
Chris Stanley said: "We couldn't believe how many people turned up.
"The crowds were the biggest ever in ten years with people turning up for one night, it was incredible, we were dumbfounded, the crowds were amazing, it was the biggest ever seen."
After Saturday night partygoers who are over 18 will have to find another venue in the town to dance the night away.
But it's not all doom and gloom as the nightclub's managers have decided to continue to hold the under 18's "Rock It" night on a Friday evening and a "Rock It 2" on a Saturday night due to popular demand.
Chris added: " We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported the club over the years and all the staff as well."
