The president's charity dance was held at the Carlisle Hall on Friday February 23.
President Betty Ariel chose Acorns Children's Hospice Trust as the local charity to benefit from the proceeds of this event.
Members and guests enjoyed a varied programme of Scottish dances.
MCs for the evening were Bob Taylor, Sylvia Dixon and May Brock.
A buffet supper prepared by the members was served during the interval. Afterwards the president thanked everybody involved for their support and help in organising the function.
She then welcomed Graham and Margaret Taylor and presented to them a cheque for £275.
Graham thanked the society and expressed appreciation on behalf of the trust.
