On Tuesday March 6 the Annual General Meeting was held for the Wall Heath Horticultural Guild at the Community Centre in Enville Rd Wall Heath at 7.30 pm.
Shirley Evans chaired the meeting.
Carol Jones, secretary, read out the Annual report. Jeff Jones, treasurer, gave a report on financial situation and also gave each member a printed report.
It had been decided that there will be no increase in subscriptions as the club retains a healthy balance due mainly to the allotment shop which sells products to all members.
The shop is open on Sunday mornings and is based at the Richmond Park Allotment Site. Carol Jones is organising the annual Guild trip on the June 21.
The venue for the trip was outlined and Carol will proceed with enquiries.
A cheese and wine event followed the meeting, prepared by Joan Adams with goods purchased by Carol and Jeff Jones.
The next meeting is on April 3 with a talk and demonstration of daffodils and other spring blooms. The talk will be given by Richard Spiers and supported by Derick Smith.
Any person wishing to attend as a visitor or new member will be most welcomed.
