Old Hales 1stXI put their disappointment of missing out on promotion behind them behind with a crushing win.
They rounded off their DTZ W.Midlands One season by hammering bottom-of-the-table Kingswinford 10-2 .
Old Hales 2nd XI returned to form to finish their league season on a high, with a 3-0 victory over visitors Walsall and take them clear of the DTZ W.Midlands Premier relegation zone. A ball across the Walsall goal found Chris Hill unmarked on the far post, to take Hales ahead early in the game, and they added a second midway through the first half courtesy of Alan Loveridge. A reverse stick top into the roof of the net from Hill put Hales 3-0 up at the break.
Old Hales 3rd XI came back from a 2-1 half time deficit, to claim a 4-2 victory over Old Sils to finish the season in a comfortable mid-table position. Matt Cole, Trevor Durnford, Alex Evans and Guy Cowdry all found the mark for Hales, but a penalty flick opportunity went begging when Jake Brooke shot wide of the mark.
The 4th XI came back from behind to edge a narrow 3-2 victory over Edgbaston, to secure their place as Champions of S.West Division One. Josh Randhawa found the mark in the first half, but his efforts were negated by two goals from Edgbaston.
However, the second half saw them fight back to clinch the game with goals from Jon Bissell and Sonny Madahar, who popped up in the area to put the ball away with his head.
Old Hales Fathom XI struggled against a strong Edgbaston side and fell to a 4-0 defeat.
The Ladies of Cresconians 1st XI struggled to get going in the first half of their game against Stourport, finding themselves on the wrong end of a 4-0 deficit at half time. Crescs raised their game after the restart with Dawn Lewis scoring but it only proved to be a consolation as they slipped to a 5-1 defeat.
They fared little better the following day, going down 2-0 to Bromsgrove in a re-arranged fixture. However, having been promoted at the end of the last season, Captain Lyn Fell can take comfort from the fact that the side has proved more than equal to maintaining its place a Division above.
Two early goals from hosts Tenbury left the Ladies of Old Hales 2nd XI on the back foot. However, they quickly regrouped to pull back to 2-2 by half time, before going on to win 5-2.
Suzanne Collins maintained her form in front of goal, bagging a hat trick, whilst Leanne Homer put away two goals.
