Dudley Sports boss Neil Perks is calling on his players to bounce back from their "worst performance" of the season to give themselves a fighting chance of getting a top ten finish.
Sports were flattered by a 1-0 home defeat to Ledbury on Saturday and the joint boss made it clear to his squad their current position of 12th in the West Midlands Premier Division was not good enough.
Perks said: "We were awful and there is no doubt that it was our worst performance of the season by far.
"It seems like the players have got into a comfort zone knowing we can't get promoted.
"Me and Paul (Blakeley) have told the players exactly what we thought and also what we expect of them in no uncertain terms after the Ledbury game.
"The highest this club has ever finished in this division is tenth and we have a chance to match this or even go higher and this is what we will attempting to do for the remainder of the season."
Sports will be on the road this Saturday when they travel to struggling Shawbury(3pm kick off).
