Glassboys face up to three away games in five days
The Glassboys chances of reaching the end of season play-offs are set to become a whole lot clearer as they face up to three tough away fixtures in five days.
Stourbridge are currently sitting just inside the play-offs in fifth position but with tonight's trip to Cinderford, Saturday's visit to Barton and Monday's journey to Woodford coming up their hopes for the season hang in the balance.
Manager, Gary Hackett, was in an upbeat mood ahead of the games.
He said: "There is no point us moaning about the up and coming fixtures we must instead look forward to the games and get on with it.
"This could be real pivotal week in our season.
"We know we have now got a tough run of games coming up and I'm sure there will be a lot of twists and turns along the way.
"We've got a pretty good away record and we know we are good enough to beat these sides so we will just get on with it."
The team will go into the Cinderford game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Malvern Town at the War Memorial.
A game Hackett believes would have been stopped in favour of the home side had it been a boxing fight.
He said: "They came with intention of getting a point and I think they even surprised themselves when they scored.
"We just couldn't put away our chances to win the game but I still believe we will soon start to put away a higher percentage of goalscoring opportunities.
"When you have goalscorers in your side like Paul Moore, Mark Bellingham, Neil Kitching and Sam Rock you know this will change."
Hackett was also delighted to come through the game without any injuries.
The boss also confirmed the trio of Richard Langford, Ross Collins and Tim Nicholls had been sent out to Cradley Town to get much-need games under their belt but all three could play some part in the following three games.
Meanwhile striker Andy Wright has moved to league rivals Stourport Swifts.
However Hackett bolstered his squad with the addition of winger, Danny Ludlow.
The former Kidderminster Harriers youth teamer returned from a spell playing in New Zealand last year and has had stints this season with Halesowen Town and Stourport Swifts.
