A MAN in his 20s suffered multiple fractures and two people were trapped in wreckage after a crash in Quarry Bank.
The incident occurred in Coppice Drive at around 6.15am today (Monday April 2), involving a collision between a blue BMW 318 and a black Hyundai car.
Four ambulances, an ambulance officer, a BASICS doctor and fire crews attended the incident, four people were treated at the scene before being transferred to Russell's Hall Hospital.
The injured male, aged 23, is in a critical condition while two women aged 17 and 19 have been treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 42-year-old man, was released from hospital after treatment. The road was closed until 10.30am and police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact the Road Policing Unit at Halesowen Police on 0845 1135000.
