POPULAR Black Country musician Bev Pegg will be taking to the stage this weekend with his rock 'n' roll band in a charity gig in aid of Age Concern Stourbridge.
Bev and his All Star Rock ‘n’ Roll Band will be laying on a nostalgic re-creation of the pop music of the late 1950s and early 1960s at Blakedown Parish Rooms, Belbroughton Road, Blakedown, on Saturday August 15, starting at 8.30pm.
Bev's star studded six-piece band features renowned musicians Dutch Lewis on saxes, Maurice Hipkiss on pedal steel guitar, Rod Kelly on keyboard, Roy Parry on bass guitar, and Ken Wright on drums - all of whom have played alongside countless top names in the world of pop.
Profits from the event will be donated to Age Concern Stourbridge.
Bev's previous outings at Blakedown and Stourbridge sold out well in advance. For ticket availability for this event call Ken Cowdry on 01384 392590.
