Forget the treadmill, stepper and exercise bike... you don't have to break into a sweat to play this season's fashion game.
Just head for the high street changing rooms - sports luxe is giving the ladylike look a run for its money.
Pull those leggings and hoodies out from your gym bag, this summer we're wearing chic sporty gear as our Sunday best.
"On your marks, get set for summer in this season's super-cool sporty kit," says Sarah Harris, fashion features writer at Vogue magazine.
Once the preserve of the gym, sports luxe wowed on the international catwalks at Dries Van Noten, Marni and Stella McCartney shows. So what sporty gear should we be earning our fashion stripes in this season? "An outsized anorak is the new summer cover-up and blouson bombers have a hip disco feel," Sarah advises, "Or try layering a racer-back dress with a brightly coloured tee."
Cut a dash in sportswear this season. There's no excuses for not running for that bus!
If the frills and florals of summer make you feel a little nauseous, kick back in pared down sportswear glamour. Flex your fashion muscles and be as daring as you like with this trend, from safer neutrals like white, grey and black through to blaring acid brights.
Sarah explains how to get the look: "Techno fabrics in sharply contoured shapes are charged with flashes of neon, while sportswear detailing gives feminine pieces a street-smart edge."
Get the look with Ethel Austin's silver sports jacket, £12, Principles' short white slouch parka, £55 (82 Euros), or Oasis' sporty silver dress, £50 (72 Euros).
Punk up your sporty look with accessories like Dorothy Perkins' sun visor, £8 (12 Euros) and pink aviators, £12 (17 Euros).
Dresses are dominating the clothing rails this season. But those who put tomboy trends over girly glamour can take refuge in the hot new sporty alternative for this summer - the jumpsuit.
The playsuit is this season's Marmite number - fashionistas will either love or hate it! But there are several variations on the theme, from mini dungarees to boilersuits with slouchy rolled legs and white cotton playsuits with puffed sleeves.
Jump on the trend with ASOS' WESC sweat hooded hotpant suit, £75, Peacocks' white cotton jumpsuit, £12, or Dorothy Perkins' jersey playsuit, £16 (24 Euros).
Or those keen to make a statement in the summer months can top off their tan with a bright playsuit like Criminal's cute coral jumpsuit, £85, or Cherokee's yellow velour playsuit, £10.
Hoodies may have caused controversy on the political landscape in the past but they're flying high in fashion camps right now.
If you're nervous about sportswear chic, the hoodie is a great sporty basic to get you in training for stepping up the trend. Still nervous? Use your hoodie for layering under dresses and jackets.
ASOS' Miss Sixty sleeveless racer back hooded knit, £75, or Ellesee's hooded top, £39.99, are great casual options - perfect for gym cover-ups or playtime. For a colour injection try Warehouse's green sleeveless hooded top, £30 (45 Euros), or Dorothy Perkins' cerise pink hooded top, £14 (21 Euros).
For a quirky twist on the trend, younger ladies can give the hooded dress a whirl. Go for Pilot's blue hooded dress, £20, or SweatyBetty's USA PRO Elite hooded red dress cover-up, £70.
Those cynical about sportswear chic can dabble in dancewear for a more luxurious, ladylike spin on the look. Think flattering, body-skimming jerseys paired with leggings and wide headbands and you'll be dancing for joy.
Sarah says: "Jersey dresses are the luxe answer to every day casual. Mix high-shine nylon with silk and jersey separates to achieve the sportswear vibe."
