STOURBRIDGE Rugby Club bosses are looking at providing a second access road to their Stourton Park headquarters.
The proposed road would be situated further down the A458 Bridgnorth Road at the end of a field that is currently operating as an overflow car park.
Secretary Huw Jenkins said: "We've had planning permission for quite some time as regarding a second entry to the club. It's a safety issue designed to reduce the level of crowding, although we don't own the field itself.
"It's one of a number of projects the club is currently looking at, another of which includes extending the existing floodlighting, although that wouldn't include the pitch closest to the Bridgnorth Road.
"One option would be to light the training pitches behind the stand especially as our mini's and junior sections are thriving at the moment and it's never ideal to have the under-12s training right next to the senior sides.
"However, these projects all depend on whether we can get funding from the Rugby Football Union."
