A CHILDREN’S trust is hosting a 'Clubbercise' event in Hagley to raise much-needed funds.
Crackerjacks Children’s Trust is holding the event in partnership with MattekA Fitness at Haybridge Sports Centre, on April 22, between 7pm and 9pm.
Registration is £10 and includes a set of re-useable glowsticks. Sponsorship forms will also be provided.
The event, which includes a raffle on the night, is for anyone aged 11 and over – 11 to 15-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Matt Raybone, from MattekA Fitness, said: “People can take part and raise as much money as they want to.
“Clubbercise is all in the dark. It builds on aerobics classes, but in the dark, for people who are wary of fitness classes.
“There will be neon face painting as well to build on the fun element.
“Up to 150 people can take part in the event on April 22."
Amanda Hopkins, event co-ordinator at Crackerjacks, added: “We are very grateful to MattekA for offering to host this fun event and hope people come to keep fit and enjoy the club atmosphere that Clubbercise offers.”
Tickets are available from MattekA, Haybridge Sports Centre or Crackerjacks Children’s Trust on 0121 2964427.
