FANTASY novelist Marcus Alexander wowed Stourbridge students when he spent the day at Old Swinford Hospital School.
The popular author of the Keeper of the Realms fantasy series gave a presentation, hosted workshops, chatted to pupils and signed copies of his books when he visited the Heath Lane school on Wednesday (April 20).
The larger than life adrenaline junkie and literary champion, who has earned a reputation for inspiring youngsters to put aside their smart devices and pick up a book, entertained and inspired pupils in years seven to 10 and posed for selfies with his young fans.
School librarian Joanne McGoldrick said “The students were treated to an inspiring and motivational day when author Marcus Alexander visited the school.
"His engaging and original approach certainly created a buzz amongst the boys as they enjoyed watching his energetic talk.
"The enthusiasm which he exudes for his love of writing was contagious too and left the boys truly inspired.”
