CHAINSAWS and a hedge cutter were taken during a break-in at a farm in Stourton last weekend which is currently being investigated by Staffordshire Police.
Officers were alerted to a reported break-in to an outbuilding on a farm in Bridgnorth Road sometime during day light hours on Saturday (July 16).
Unknown offenders were able to force entry into the outbuilding by smashing the padlock off a door before taking off with four chainsaws and a hedge cutter.
A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: “Please remain vigilant and review security measures on all outbuildings, sheds and garages.”
Police are now appealing for anyone who could have information regarding the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 841 of 16 July.
