A MAN who was arrested in Stourbridge on Monday morning (September 19) following a hit and run which left children injured has been released on bail.
Police arrested the 27-year-old at an address in Stourbridge on suspicion of assault, but he has since been released until a date in November.
Four people were injured, including two young children – both aged three – and two women, when they were hit in Hob Green Road, Wollescote, at 9am last Monday (September 12).
They were all taken to Russells Hall Hospital for precautionary checks but were not seriously hurt.
Although the incident was not linked to nearby Hob Green Primary School, it was witnessed by several children and parents.
