A GAS leak has led to temporary traffic lights being installed in Norton, motorists and residents are being warned.
Engineers from gas distribution network Cadent are working to trace and repair a gas leak at the junction of Norton Lane, Greyhound Lane, and Racecourse Lane.
The firm said they hope to “minimise disruption” by manning the lights between 7am and 7pm.
A spokeswoman for Cadent said: “It is not yet known exactly how long the repair will take but every effort will be made to complete the work as soon as possible.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused but it is essential that we fix this leak.”
