A FUNDRAISING evening at The Church Tavern pub in Quarry Bank raised £749.75 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The money raised from the event on July 1 will go towards the hospice's vital work to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Tanya Fellows, community fundraising officer, thanked all those involved in the fundraiser and said: "We rely on the support of local businesses like the Church Tavern to raise the vital funds we need for our work supporting local life-limited and life-threatened children and their families."
Last year the charity supported more than 840 children and over a thousand families across the West Midlands.
