ENERGETIC youngsters at Pedmore CE Primary School have raised more than £1,000 to help children in remote Nepal get a decent education.
Pupils at the Hagley Road school took part in their own mini triathlon to raise just over £1,200 for Classrooms in the Clouds.
The fundraiser was inspired by governor Ruth Hill who took on her first-ever triathlon in May.
Money raised from the school triathlon will go towards funding quality classrooms and opportunities for school aged children in mountainous Nepal in the Himalayas.
Twenty books can be bought for a school library in Nepal for £50, £30 buys a first aid kit, £5 funds a teacher for a day and £20 buys 70 bricks for building classrooms and toilets.
