BUSY Gig Caritas members are quick to follow up their recent successful Moonlight Sinatra gig at Brierley Hill Town Hall by promoting another concert at St Mary's Church in Oldswinford on Saturday November 11.
Well-known Wollaston based trumpeter Edward Robert-Malpass will be the star soloist in Haydn's famous trumpet concerto.
The concert also features Elgar's String Serenade and Beethoven's First Symphony among other works performed by Stourbridge Chamber Orchestra which will again be conducted by Keith Horsfall.
Tickets for the concert, which gets underway at 7.30pm, cost £10 and are available from Harris and Son of Wollaston, or more details can be obtained from the Gig Caritas Facebook page.
Proceeds raised from the concert will be donated to the Friends of Music at St Mary's.
Classical music buffs who can't wait for the concert can get an insight into Edward Robert-Malpass's musical tastes when he appears as a guest on Black Country Radio's Classical Chills show on Monday November 6.
