Nuke the neutrals and banish the beige. Summer's make-up colours are brazenly bright, voraciously vivid and definitely not for the faint-hearted. The new palette is for the bold, the bad and the wildly daring, and beauty wimps and style wusses will surely feel left out. This is definitely the time to be adventurous with colour. "This season, bright neon colours have made the translation from the catwalk to the high street," says Jerrod Blandino, founder of Too Faced cosmetics. "These can be quite difficult to wear, so my top tip to wearing vibrant colours is to pick one feature and go for it! For example, if you want to wear the season's must-have bright pink or deep red lips, you must balance that intense shot of colour with a more neutral eye and cheek. "Don't make the mistake of going too natural, though, on the rest of your features - the look must be cohesive. A hot pink lip would look silly combined with a matte beige-brown." He adds a word of caution, saying: "Please don't try more than one of these bright colours at a time, or you could end up looking more like a circus clown than a fashionista!"EYE-CATCHING EYESIf you decide to accentuate your peepers with a brightly coloured shade, then steer clear of recreating the same look on your cheeks and lips.
