STOURBRIDGE Football Club raised more than £750 for The Royal British Legion when a collection was held at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.
Current and former servicemen and women were admitted free of charge for the club’s Evo-Stik Premier game against Witton Albion and a bucket collection that was held throughout the day, plus proceeds from the sale of pin badges, raised a total of £769.73 for the charity.
Steven Coney, Stourbridge FC media officer, said: “We would like to extend a huge thank you to everybody who contributed to the bucket collection or purchased a pin badge.”
