A TOP Black Country financial advisor has picked up a coveted industry award.

Philip Haden, of Prosperity Wealth, won the Professional of the Year at the Wolverhampton & Black Country Law Society dinner.

The chartered financial planner beat competition from across the region for the prize which recognises outstanding work in the professional services sector.

Prosperity advisor Rachel Jefferson won the same award in 2016 marking an impressive run for the firm which recently moved from St John's Road in Stourbridge to The Waterfront, Merry Hill.

Mr Haden, who has 17 years’ experience and has worked at Prosperity Wealth for two years, said he was "really proud to win such a coveted award" and he added: "Prosperity Wealth encourages all staff to go that extra mile which is why we have been so successful."

The firm was also a finalist in the Law Society’s professional firm of the year on the same day - and a finalist in the PFS Financial Adviser of the Year awards in the autumn.

Staff were also commended at the Financial Adviser Service Awards 2017 and the firm was highly commended in the National Retirement Planner Awards 2017.
