HISTORIC town pub The Bell has been put up for sale.
Offers are being invited for the landmark building, on the corner of Bell Street and Market Street, which has gone on the market with Stourbridge estate agent Andrew Taplin.
As well as the public house element – the three-storey property next to St Thomas’s Church includes hotel accommodation on the ground, first and second floors – plus four self-contained lock-up shops in Market Street, three of which are let.
The sale notes indicate the building is in need of some refurbishment but that it may be suitable for a variety of alternative uses, subject to planning and building regulation approval.
