TRAFFIC bosses have done a u-turn and decided to keep a main Stourbridge road open while tree removal work takes place.
A section of Brook Road at Oldswinford was expected to be closed on Sunday January 28, from its junction with Grange Road/Chawn Hill, while work to remove trees is carried out near the entrance to Stourbridge Junction Railway Station.
But Dudley Council highways chiefs have now confirmed the road will remain open while the works are carried out - and other methods of traffic management will be used.
