MARY Stevens Hospice is issuing an Easter challenge to Stourbridge youngsters.

Children are being invited to take part in the hospice’s annual Easter egg hunt and coffee morning – with the goal of finding more than 500 chocolate eggs to take home and eat.

Laura Millard, event organiser at the hospice, said: “Last year we had a record number of eggs and a record number of children - and credit to them they found every last one.

“The staff here love chocolate eggs just as much as the children, so this year we're going to have loads more and make them even harder to find so that we can have them for breakfast on the Monday morning.”

Alongside the huge egg hunt, supporters can also enjoy a range of attractions on the day including donkey rides, an Easter market and a cake and refreshments area – all of which will help to raise vital funds for the hospice.

The event is free to attend, with registration for the egg hunt costing £5 per child.

To register a child for the egg hunt in advance go to www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/event/easter-egg-hunt-2018.

Doors open at 10.30am, and the egg hunt is expected to start between 11am and 11.30am on Saturday March 31.
