Halesowen Town manager Martin O'Connor believes things are coming together nicely ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday August 18 away at Hemel Hempstead Town after watching his side pick up pre-season wins against Stourport Swifts and Boldmere St Michaels.
The manager feels his new look side are looking more of a unit each game they play. He said: "I'm pretty happy with the way things are coming together.
"We played okay in patches on Saturday and Wednesday which is encouraging."
The boss was particularly pleased with the way his new look strike force of Paul Devlin and Duane Darby are linking up .
O'Connor said: "You can't buy experience and these two have got bundles of that.
"They are beginning to look good and I was pleased with the way they linked up in the Second half at Boldmere."
O'Connor also confirmed experienced ex-Worcester City defender Dennis Pearce and young left winger Liam McDonald had agreed deals at the Grove.
Meanwhile the impressive Shane Paul is mulling over a contact offer from the club with a decision expected soon.
The club will finish their pre-season programme away at Rushall Olympic this Saturday (3pm kick off).
The encounter will see O'Connor pits his wits against previous Halesowen boss Paul Holleran who is now in charge of the Dales Lane outfit.
