AN elderly man was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after his car rolled into him in Oldswinford.
The incident happened in Cobham Road on Tuesday (April 3) and saw West Midlands fire, police and ambulance services plus the hazardous area response team called to the scene at 5.26pm.

The Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham was also called out and landed on nearby Stourbridge Golf Course but the man, who was conscious during the drama, was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment after firefighters from Stourbridge and Brierley Hill rescued him from beneath the vehicle using air bags.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the man's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
