HAGLEY Ramblers Scout Group are hoping their annual bonfire and fireworks event goes with a bang.
The group will be hosting a big bonfire and fireworks event on Saturday November 10 on the field opposite Webbs garden centre in Hagley.
Entry is by ticket only this year. They can be bought online via website www.hagleyramblers.com.
The gates open at 5:30pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm.
Fireworks will get underway at 7pm followed by a Viking battle ahead of the main fireworks display.
There will be a barbecue, curry stall, hot refreshments including mulled wine, cakes, sweets and glowsticks.
All money raised will go towards the scout group’s continuing campaign to build a new scout hut.
Around £345,000 has been raised over the last few towards the project but £55,000 is still needed to bring it to fruition.
The popular Ramblers Scout Group boasts more than 150 members who have been left homeless since January this year due to the deterioration of their existing old hut which has forced them to plan their rebuild project a year earlier than expected.
