A WOMAN has been left with a black eye after a scooter rider punched her in the face as she moved to let him pass her in Bagley Street, Lye.
The incident happened yesterday (Tuesday February 5) at around 5pm while the victim was in her car.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A woman had pulled over to let a scooter past when the driver of the scooter, a man in a balaclava, confronted her and punched her in the face before fleeing the scene."
The victim has since told the News a witness spotted a man on a white moped wearing cream/grey work clothes (jogging bottom style) heading to the Bronx island after the incident - and that the man was approximately six feet tall.
