AN elderly Pedmore couple were threatened by armed robbers with a machete in an attempted carjacking at their home.
The terrifying incident happened in broad daylight in Stevens Road at around 3pm on Monday February 11.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "It is believed a woman was threatened with a machete, before running into her house where she was followed by two masked men.
"The men were challenged by the homeowner before they fled empty handed on a red and black scooter."
The victims suffered minor injuries during the confrontation and were treated at the scene, the spokesman added.
