SOUTH Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson is back in the Cabinet, after being appointed Secretary of State for Education by new Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
His appointment comes less than three months after he was sacked from his post as Defence Secretary in Theresa May's Cabinet after a row over the leaking of information from the National Security Council.
Writing on Twitter, Mr Williamson said he was 'absolutely honoured' to be made Education Secretary.

The MP, who represents Kinver, helped run Boris Johnson's campaign during the first phase of the Tory leadership contest.
More than half of Theresa May's Cabinet have been sacked or quit since Johnson's appointment as Prime Minister.
Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid is now Chancellor, Dominic Raab takes the helm at the Foreign Office and Priti Patel has been appointed Home Secretary.
