A GANG who slashed a man with a knife in a Kingswinford park are still being sought by police.

Three people were assaulted when they were approached by a gang of six people in King George VI Park, Kingswinford last month.

The gang demanded that the group hand over their belongings, before slashing a man with knife.

The man later needed hospital treatment for his injuries.

The terrifying attack took place just before 2am on Friday June 28, and police have released an appeal for information today (July 26).

A police spokesperson said: "A group of six people demanded all the belongings off them and slashed a man with a knife, causing injuries to his arm that required hospital treatment.
