THE reopening of a flood stricken Dudley bowling alley has been delayed to next week.
Tenpin Dudley at Castle Gate was forced to close on Tuesday afternoon following torrential downpours that hit the Black Country.
Families were forced to flee the flooded attraction, as parts of the ceiling fell in and water rushed in through the doors.
The Castle Gate bowling alley was set to reopen on Saturday, August 3, but the opening has now been pushed back to Wednesday August 7.
A statement on the Tenpin Dudley website reads: "Tenpin Dudley is currently closed due to a leak from the floor above.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
"The Tenpin Team are working hard to resolve this and hope to be open again by Wednesday 7th August."
