A LYE woman has been hit with a community order and a court bill after admitting two counts of assaulting a police officer.
Samantha Gore, aged 29, of Barn Close, Lye, pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court. She received a community order with a curfew and was ordered to pay compensation, surcharge and costs totalling £575.
The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.
Daniel Clay, aged 47, of Pedmore Road, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath specimen when requested by police. He was fined £290 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £135 costs. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
Curtis Dwyer, aged 22, of Masters Lane, Blackheath, pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. He received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £21 surcharge.
Benjamin Winkett, aged 25, of The Promenade, Brierley Hill, pleaded guilty to causing £500 of unlawful damage to a television, a vase and a double glazed window. He was ordered to pay £500 in compensation and a £21 surcharge. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months.
Dale Mansell, aged 38, of Terry Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing £35 worth of detergent from Wilkinsons in Dudley. He received a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and was order to follow a curfew.
Shakar Hussain, aged 35, of Richmond Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified from holding a licence and also admitted driving without insurance. He received a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay a £90 surcharge, £135 in costs and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
Daniel Rollinson, aged 32, of Naylors Grove, Dudley, pleaded guilty to driving on Hillside Road while over the legal alcohol limit. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £350 costs. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months.
Marcus Henry, aged 28, of Beecher Road East, Cradley, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing £79 worth of vodka and also admitted stealing two bottles of vodka and bottle of gin, all from Asda in Halesowen. He received a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months due to a previous record of offending. He was ordered to pay £267 in compensation.
