A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of motoring offences including dangerous driving after a police chase through the Black Country.
Response officers from Brierley Hill spotted a car "driving dangerously" while on patrol in Cakemore Road, Halesowen, and a police chase ensued after the vehicle failed to stop.
The car was eventually abandoned in Smethwick and officers pursued the suspect on foot before arresting him on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop and dangerous driving. The vehicle was also seized.
