A MAN in his 60s has died having tested positive for coronavirus - bringing the death toll at Russells Hall Hospital to 145.

Diane Wake, chief executive of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust which runs Russells Hall, confirmed today (Tuesday April 14) that the man who had underlying health issues, passed away on April 12.

She said: "Sadly we can confirm that a man who was being cared for at Russells Hall Hospital, and had tested positive for COVID-19, has died.

"His family has been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time."
