A KNIFE and drugs were found when police chased down the occupants of a car which had raised the suspicions of officers.
Police officers from Brierley Hill stopped a car on Brierley Hill Road, Wordsley, on Friday afternoon (April 25) and they detained three male occupants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A foot chase ensued and a search involving one of the West Midlands Police force dogs when one of the suspects ran from the car but all three were arrested on suspicion of various offences including possessing an offensive weapon, possession of controlled drugs and obstructing a constable.
A lock knife and drugs were recovered during the search, Dudley PC Jamie Follows said.
