THE body of a man was discovered at a home in Cradley at the weekend.
Armed police were called to a property in Lyde Green just before 6pm on Saturday (April 25) after the 65-year-old man's body was discovered.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to Lyde Green in Cradley just before 6pm on Saturday (25 April), where the body of a man had been found inside a property.
"The death of the 65-year-old is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner."
The spokesman confirmed armed police attended.
It is thought there may have been a firearm at the address.
Ambulances were at the scene before police were called.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 5.14pm on Saturday to reports of a medical emergency at an address in Lyde Green in Cradley.
"We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene.
"On arrival crews found one patient, a man.
"Unfortunately nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
