RESIDENTS across the Black Country once again turned out on their doorsteps and driveways to show their appreciation for our carers and key workers last night.
Clap For Carers returned for the sixth week on Thursday night, with people taking time at 8pm to express their thanks for the dedication of carers and key workers during the coronavirus crisis.
Even Spiderman joined in, with the superhero spotted waving a flag for the NHS on Dunstall Road in Halesowen (pictured above).
Staff from Russells Hall Hospital also joined in the applause, along with police officers, on the same day that the nation celebrated the 100th birthday of fundraising hero Captain Tom Moore.

Stourbridge Town Hall was illuminated in green for the occasion and special flags were raised at Dudley Council House and Town Hall.
