A PENSNETT man has been jailed for 24 weeks and banned from driving for three years after committing a string of driving offences while on bail.
Mitchell Evans, of Queen Street, Pensnett, admitted to driving Ford Transit while over the legal alcohol limit while on Queen Street on April 9.
He was found to have 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The 28-year-old also admitted driving the van without insurance, driving while disqualified from holding a licence and handling stolen goods, at a hearing at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on April 30.
For a separate incident, he also pleaded guilty to driving an Iveco lorry on Norwood Road in Brierley Hill over the legal alcohol limit.
The court heard he drove the lorry while having 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on April 30.
Evans also admitted to driving the lorry while disqualified from holding a licence and without insurance.
He was jailed for 24 weeks due previous convictions and offending while on bail and was disqualified from driving for three years and 84 days.
The court also ordered him to pay a £128 surcharge.
