A DUDLEY man accused of killing his five-month-old daughter has appeared at crown court.
Philip Peace appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Friday, May 1) charged with the murder of his baby daughter in September 2017.
The 42 year-old, of Himley Road, was given bail and will next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 16 where he is expected to enter a plea.
Police say the five-month-old girl was taken to hospital in cardiac arrest on September 8 in 2017, where she died the next day.
Following an investigation, Peace was arrested in May of the following year and was charged on Wednesday, April 29.
He appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 30.
