EMERGENCY crews swamped a residential street in Wordsley this morning after reports a man had suffered a cardiac arrest.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called out to Kinver Street earlier today (Friday).
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were sent to the scene at 11.30am after a man was reported to have suffered a cardiac arrest.
But she later added: "Sadly, despite the best efforts of bystanders and ambulance staff nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead on scene."
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said it was believed the man had fallen over and officers attended to close the road while the air ambulance attended.
