POLICE are investigating after an elderly couple's car windscreen was deliberately smashed with a plant pot in Stourbridge's Old Quarter.
The incident, which was partially captured on CCTV, happened in Clark Street in the early hours of Sunday August 9.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A plant pot was repeatedly thrown at the car, causing a window to smash. The offenders then left in a car."
A relative of the couple, who have lived in the street for more than 40 years, branded the offenders "scum" and the incident "shocking" - adding: "The video shows it's quite deliberate. We have no idea why."
Police say they are investigating and that enquiries continue.
