KINVER High School is the latest school to report a case of coronavirus.
In a letter to parents the school said a case of Covid-19 had been confirmed at the village school and that a number of pupils have been asked to self-isolate.
The letter said: "We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the Invictus Sixth Form in year 13."
It says the South Staffordshire secondary school, part of the Invictus Education Trust, will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with Public Health England and it adds that a small number of students have been identified as having been in direct contact with the confirmed case and they will be staying at home for 14 days.
A spokesman for the Invictus Education Trust said: "The Trust is following the DFE guidance in responding to this matter. Our priority is ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff."
