POLICE launched a search of streets and a railway line in Brierley Hill after and incident yesterday.
Springfield Road and Moor Street were sealed off at around 3.30pm on September 30.
Reports from the scene say there was a large police presence at the scene and a section of railway was also searched.
House to house enquiries took place and people from the area took to social media to say officers were responding to an alleged shooting incident.
West Midlands Police is yet to confirm reports of a shooting.
