A Stourbridge actor and her partner have had to postpone their 100-mile Jurassic Coast challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
But the good news is they are already three times beyond their target without taking a step.
Kidderminster-born Laren Soley, 26, who was brought up in Kingswinford before she went off to drama school, was due to be setting out from along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast this weekend with partner Josie Kemp.
But the pair, who met while appearing in Les Miserables on the West End, have had to postpone because of lockdown restrictions, and have now rescheduled for June 7 to 13.
The walk was prompted by the death of Josie’s mum, Pippa Stone, last year from a brain tumour at the age of 60. Lauren’s dad Glyn died from a brain tumour when he was 43.
The pair has set a target of £1,000 but have so far raised more than £3,000.
