KINVER’S MP has welcomed plans to bring ultra-fast full fibre broadband to thousands of homes across the region.

Gavin Williamson, Tory member for South Staffordshire, has given his support for plans by internet provider Openreach to upgrade broadband for nearly 4,000 homes in the county.

He said: “I am delighted by the news around 4,000 households which otherwise might not have been reached will now benefit from ultra-fast broadband.

“I remain committed to supporting the further expansion of ultra-fast broadband across both South Staffordshire and the UK so that we can ensure no household is left behind.”
