Halesowen Town have announced midfielder Paul Devlin has left the club with immediate effect.
Boss Morell Maison confirmed the former Scotland international has been released from his contract in order to take up the role of assistant manager at the Yeltz's BGB Premier division rivals Rugby Town.
Signed last February by former boss Martin O'Connor, Devlin scored five goals for the club this season.
Maison paid tribute to the 35-year-old's efforts and said he had been a "model professional" during his time at the club.
Maison said: "In many ways Paul is a throwback to the old days, he has been a model professional.
"He has a great attitude in the way he trains and prepares for games and the way he acts on and off the pitch.
"He has set a really good example to the younger players, his new role is a great opportunity and i wish him all the best."
Devlin will not have to wait long before facing his former teammates, as Yeltz travel to Rugby tomorrow for a BGB Premier division clash, kick-off 3pm.
